Waste Management currently has the solid waste curbside collection contract with St. James Parish. Residents may contact Waste Management at 800-548-8597 if they have any problems or concerns. A map of the collection days by route is linked below.
Collection Sites
The Parish Council manages and operates collection sites on each side of the river.
Allowed items at collection sites:
- White goods (freezers & refrigerators)
- Furniture
- Tires
- Oil
- Household trash
Items NOT allowed:
- Paint
- Construction materials
- Aerosol cans
- Pressurized tanks
- Solvents
